Starting his career in the mid-90's in the luxury industry with a small French jeweler and watchmaker, Pierre-Yves has then experienced various positions during 12 years in the recruitment industry and human resources area: headhunting, corporate communication, e-recruitment, training, etc.

At the age of 33, he became the youngest Secretary General at EAPM (European Association for People Management), animating a 220.000-member community though 27 countries.

Frequent chronicler in the media, he is also giving classes at INSEAD.
In 2008, he co-founded "Luxury Society", the leading BtoB socla media dedicated to luxury professionals.
